Nottingham Outlaws RLFC, Trent Rugby League Alumni and Nottingham Trent University are delighted to announce the opening of the application process for the 2022/23 NTU Rugby League Scholarship programme.
The program sees an elite player pathway forged between NTU Rugby League and Nottingham Outlaws RLFC. This will offer current and prospective NTU Rugby League players the chance to further develop their Rugby League, interpersonal and leadership skills alongside their studies.
The program is committed to offering a minimum of two scholarships for NTU Rugby League players for the 2022/23 academic year and is open to both current are prospective NTU students.
Successful Rugby League Scholars will receive support throughout both the Student Rugby League and Nottingham Outlaws seasons including:
- NTU gym membership and sports club membership
- NTU Sports Scholarship kit & match day Kit
- Nottingham Outlaws RLFC annual playing membership
- Nottingham Outlaws RLFC training and match day kit
- Student RL representative kit and travel bursary
- Annual bursary paid in two Instalments
- NTU performance gym access
- Physiotherapy access
- Nutritional Guidance
- Sports Psychology workshops
- Performance lifestyle mentoring
- Employability sessions
- Entry to Level 2 Certificate for Coaching Rugby League
- Entry to Rugby League Match Officials Course
- Work experience opportunities across various fields
