Nottingham Outlaws Rugby Scholarship scheme will kick off in January 2023 and is looking to enrol male and female students into this exciting new venture.
Previous playing experience is not essential – we are looking for students who can combine athletic ability with a keen sense of learning about every aspect of our sport.
The scholarship scheme aims to provide students with the chance to play/improve their rugby skills whilst receiving support in their studies, training and future career opportunities.
Benefits are wide ranging and include:
- Payment of all playing and membership subscriptions
- Provision of training/playing kit
- Personal player performance analysis
- Links with the Nottingham Trent University player pathway
- Opportunities to take up coaching and refereeing qualifications
- Career mentoring (cv, interview training, career advice)
- Help finding jobs (through our local network of employers and recruitment agencies)
This exciting new scheme kicks off in January 2023 ahead of the Outlaws new season which starts in March 2023 with our men’s and women’s teams who will both be playing in senior league competitions.
