Outlaws secure grant funding for ground improvements

Nottingham Outlaws are pleased to announce that they have been awarded a grant from the East Midlands Airport (EMA) Community Fund to pay for much needed improvements at their Lenton Lane ground.

The EMA fund awards grants to local clubs and charities and in this case, the much needed funds will be used to pay for the build of new spectator barrier alongside the North Terrace touchline.
On learning about the award, Outlaws Chairman Richard Johnson was quick to thank everyone involved in securing the grant for the club, commenting “The EMA Community Fund has been in existence for a number of years we are once again delighted to receive generous funding from this funding body that provides vital financial support to a large number of worthy local causes and charities.”
The Outlaws chairman was also quick to give praise to everyone at the Outlaws who helped bring the grant to fruition, adding ” I would also like to thank committee members Nick Robb and Joe Shepherd for pulling together all of the necessary supporting documents needed for the application to be a success.  The new fencing should be up and ready ahead of the Nottingham Varsity RL match that usually sees our biggest attendance of the season so this timely award will be put to great use almost straight away!”
