Outlaws 22 : Sharlston Rovers 32

Nottingham Outlaws suffered a disappointing 32-22 home defeat to Sharlston at Lenton Lane on Saturday. Despite leading on three occasions in the match they were generally on the back foot for most of the second half thanks to some poor handling and missed tackles at crucial points in the game. Outlaws 12 : 32 Stanley Rangers

Nottingham Outlaw’s winning run came to an end when they were on the wrong end of a 32-12 scoreline against top of the table Stanley Rangers at Lenton Lane on Saturday. In scorching hot conditions both sides felt the heat but it was a physically bigger and more powerful Stanley side that came out on top against an outgunned Outlaws team. Cutsyke Raiders 28 : Outlaws 24

Nottingham Outlaws travelled up to Castleford to play Cutsyke Raiders on Saturday with no fewer than seven changes to the side that lost their opening match against Hull Wyke a fortnight ago. However, despite the re-shuffle the Outlaws gave a much-improved performance, pushing their hosts all the way before agonisingly losing out by one score at 28-24.

Outlaws 10 : Hull Wyke 46

Nottingham Outlaws kicked off their 2023 Yorkshire League 1 campaign against Hull Wyke at Lenton Lane on Saturday with a new look squad containing five players on debut. However, despite performing well in patches, they couldn’t keep up with a well drilled Wyke team and eventually succumbed to a 46-10 defeat.
