PLATINUM SQUAD

Rugby League is one of Nottingham Trent University's Platinum Sports. The Platinum scheme is designed to provide Sports Science support to the high performance teams to enable players to fulfil their athletic potential.

In addition to regular training sessions, the Platinum Squad benefit from a comprehensive Sports Science support programme delivered by highly qualified and experienced staff. The support programme includes:

- Fitness Testing

- Functional Movement Screening

- Strength & Conditioning

- Physiotherapy

- Psychology

- Nutrition

To be considered for the Rugby League Platinum Squad you must be a highly committed individual who wishes to excel at Rugby League with ambitions to play at student representative level and beyond.

The Platinum Squad is selected at the start of each academic year. Prospective students with a strong Rugby League background who wish to be considered for the Platinum Squad should contact the coaching staff for more information.
