REFEREEING

If you want the best view of the action from up-close, then become a referee! There is a variety of levels of playing standard in the East Midlands at which to officiate, ranging from under 11s to senior open-age.

MATCH OFFICIALS 13-A-SIDE COURSE

It has been confirmed that there will be a 13 a-side Match Officials course to be run in the East Midlands on the 20th April. This runs through the basic Laws of the Game, and a pass will qualify candidates to referee all levels of amateur Rugby League. This course is ideal for those interested in taking up the whistle, coaches at clubs running junior teams, and anyone interested in improving their knowledge of the laws of the game. The RFL have agreed to part fund this course, which is great news for candidates and clubs. Course details are as follows:
